In order to make the start in Münster and at the University of Münster Professional School easier for new students, the master program organizes a buddy program at the beginning of each course. In 2023, the buddy program was launched for the first time, initiated by students of the master program.

Buddies are established and committed students of the study program who are interested in international contacts and who support new students especially during the often difficult first phase of their arrival in Germany. Participating students will receive a volunteer certificate for their commitment as a buddy.

The Buddy Program is intended to provide new students with a contact person who has already experienced the process of starting a master program and is familiar with the basic challenges that this step entails. The goal of the program is to help international students adjust to life in Münster and at the University by providing organizational, cultural, and possibly academic support. We hope that this shared perspective will help to clarify some of the initial questions and to ease uncertainties of new students.
