Conferences at the University of Münster

The university city of Münster offers you the perfect setting for your conference or congress. As a supra-regional center, the city with its more than 300,000 inhabitants has an optimal transport connection for the uncomplicated arrival and departure of your participants* as well as a diverse cultural offer for an appealing supporting program of your event.

The university is spread over the entire city of Münster with around 220 buildings and thus offers you a large selection of suitable locations for your event. Modern facilities, an informal, beautiful ambience and the special flair of a traditional university make your conference something special.

Venues

University of Münster

The University of Münster is the venue for conferences, congresses, trade fairs and seminars.
It has more than 75 rooms, spread over several university buildings for 20 to 800 people. The Prince-Bishop’s Palace Münster is a ten-minute walk from the city centre. As a landmark and main building of the university, it is a popular meeting place.
The building has several lecture halls and seminar rooms as well as the festive auditorium with 390 seats.

Professional School

In addition, you can also use the premises of the University of Münster Professional School, in the so-called Heereman'schen Hof" for your event. In the historic ambience of the former noble court of the Heereman family, seminar participants are now offered a modern conference area. The lecture rooms are equipped with the latest presentation technology and have WLAN access, which can of course be used by the participants free of charge.

Overnight

In cooperation with Münster Marketing and as a sponsor of the congress initiative MS, we support you in creating a suitable supporting program for your event and help with the accommodation of your participants and guests. Münster Marketing can carry out a central quota query with the hoteliers for you.
Remember to send us accommodation requests as soon as the date of your event is ready, better still in advance to avoid bottlenecks in accommodation. In return for an overnight booking, your participants and guests will receive the free "Welcome! Ticket Münster, which allows free travel on buses and trains throughout the city of Münster, as well as a free shuttle to and from Münster/Osnabrück airport.

Supporting programme

We support getting to know each other" and "getting together" at your event by planning joint leisure activities. We are happy to reserve tables in the evenings for a relaxed discussion in popular Münster restaurants or organize joint activities such as city tours, museum visits, bicycle trips or the like. The city of Münster and its surroundings offer great potential here - also for surprising insights and excursions. Many participants enthusiastically used this offer in the past; often the joint activities served as a starting point for further activities in the Münster nightlife.
