Souleymane Diallo

Souleymane Diallo holds an MA in Visual Anthropology from the University of Tromso, Norway and a PhD in Social and Cultural anthropology from the University of Cologne in Germany. He teaches at the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology, University of Münster. His research and thematic interests include Islam in Africa, intra-religious conflict dynamics, anthropology of religion, anthropology of war, humanitarianism, gender studies, youth studies, anthropology of music, migration studies, political anthropology, postcolonial representations/textualities, methods and methodology, as well as theories and practices of anthropological film making.
