BAAB - Beyond Audiovisual and Anthropological Boundaries
Our lecturer Laurent van Lancker as Artistic Director
We are happy to announce the creation of a new initiative at the crossroad of art, anthropology and cinema, supported by the AMidex ANFAA chair, that will take place in Marseille from 2026 onwards. Our lecturer Laurent van Lancker will serve as Artistic Director in this new initiative.
BAAB is a unique 12-month program designed for emerging artists and researchers working on audiovisual projects at the intersection of art, anthropology, and cinema. Based out of Marseille, BAAB (which means door/threshold in arabic) offers an inspiring mix of four collective feedback sessions, one-on-one mentoring, and international networking opportunities in a supportive and benevolent environment.
